Boutwell Fay, LLP Honors Alison Fay’s Legacy as she Transitions to Partner Emeritus

IRS Notice 2024-63: IRS Provides Clarity on Implementing Student Loan Match Contributions

Boutwell Fay LLP is honored to announce the well-deserved retirement of Alison Fay, a founding member of Boutwell Fay and a leading figure in the ERISA legal landscape. After 26 years of distinguished service at Boutwell Fay LLP (and over 40 years as an ERISA and Benefits lawyer), Alison will be retiring from the practice of law and transitioning to Partner Emeritus status at Boutwell Fay on 10/15/2024.

Throughout her career, Alison’s contributions to the field of ERISA law are undeniable, and her guidance has been invaluable to our firm and our clients. Her dedication and expertise have been instrumental in the industry, including her many years of service with the Orange County Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council as well as the Joint TE/GE Council and the Pacific Coast Area TE/GE Council.

While Alison will be stepping back from the law practice, her wisdom and experience will remain a cornerstone of the firm as Partner Emeritus. Sherrie Boutwell continues as managing partner, but will miss her friend and partner of so many years.

Please join us in congratulating Alison on her retirement and feel free to contact us with any questions about this transition.
